Our range of services in the area of insurance law includes both insurance supervisory law and insurance contract law. In insurance supervisory law, we advise on regulatory requirements in connection with the provision and brokerage of insurance services. We advise international insurance companies on special requirements of cross-border provision of insurance services in Austria.

In the area of insurance supervision law, we create added value for our clients through close cooperation with other areas of our cooperation partner KPMG by advising not only on the legal bases, but also their specific application (e.g. in the area of calculating capital requirements).

In insurance contract law, our holistic approach enables us to create significant added value, particularly in the review or assessment of cases in connection with D&O insurances. The position of KPMG and KPMG Law in commercial law, tax law and auditing and our knowledge of insurance contract law enable us to conduct a thorough examination of the underlying facts and to assess the legal consequences.
