Biography
My main areas of practice lie in public commercial law, in particular energy law and energy contract law, environmental law, construction and spatial planning law, as well as municipal law. I advise and represent project developers and municipalities, in particular, in public-law (approval) proceedings.
A particular focus of my work is on all issues relating to energy law, including energy regulation, decentralized energy supply (citizen energy, energy communities, PPAs, P2P), as well as storage and large-scale storage systems (BESS).
I regularly publish in legal journals and frequently act as a speaker, for example for the Lawyers’ Academy, professional associations, and public institutions. In addition, I am a regular guest on legal podcasts.
Prior to joining KPMG Law, I worked for two renowned law firms in Vienna and Graz, focusing on energy and environmental law.
